How do I connect my Gmail account?

Open Purchy, go to Settings → Connected Accounts → Connect Gmail. You'll be redirected to Google to sign in and grant permission. We only read emails that match receipt and order confirmation patterns — we never access your full inbox. You can disconnect Gmail at any time from Settings.

How do I scan a receipt?

Tap the "+" button on the home screen and select "Scan Receipt." Point your camera at the receipt and tap the capture button. Our AI will automatically extract the store name, items, prices, date, and return policy. You can also upload a photo from your gallery.

How do return alerts work?

When Purchy detects a purchase with a return window, it automatically sets up reminders. You'll receive push notifications 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day before the return deadline expires. You can customize alert timing in Settings → Notifications.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently delete your account and all associated data (receipts, purchase history, and preferences) within 30 days. You can also email us at services@purchy.app to request account deletion.

What data does Purchy collect?

Purchy collects your account information, receipt data (from scans and Gmail), and purchase history to provide the service. We use AI to process receipts but do not sell your data. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

Is my data secure?

Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use Supabase for secure cloud storage and follow industry best practices for data protection. We use minimal cookies (authentication only) and do not use third-party advertising trackers.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Go to your device's subscription settings to cancel. Your premium features will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
